Dear Parents/Caregivers

This week in the lead up to Pink Shirt Day on Friday the school will be focusing on anti-bullying behavior.  Pink Shirt Day is the day when New Zealand stands together to stop bullying. No young person should be made to feel bad about who they are! By taking bullying seriously and working towards a school culture that supports and celebrates all students, young people can feel safe, valued and supported, and flourish at school.  Please take the time to talk to your children about this important topic and encourage them to wear pink on Friday to show support.

As well as supporting our students in school we want to encourage children to think of others in the wider community.  On Friday 25 May we will be holding ‘I wish I was Day’ to support Make-a-Wish Foundation which grants wishes to children with critical illnesses.  Encourage your children to dress up as what they always wished to be and donate a $2 (or more) donation.

Congratulations to our CARE Bronze winners for the last fortnight:  Samantha Wood, Connor Macer, Annalise Livesey, Lucy Hayward, Samantha Neely, Olivia Hood, Chase Hopkins, Ryan Perris, Felix Bishara, Olivia Wood, Caitlin Millar, Caleb Honey, Kolby van Zyl, Evelyn Langdon, Miley Raynes, Cora Broadfoot, Phoebe Mitchell, Hebe Reynolds, Levi Oxborough, Anna Hayward, Tessa Goodwin, Delilah Drew-Ross, Bella Leatherland, Zach Allen, Max Aspinall, Wilson Bouzaid, Spike Allen, Kaleb Bibbie, Jake Leatherland, Lexi McCormack, Samara Brooks, James Cheshire, Lucas Rakich, Benjamin Harvey, Sophie Banks, Otto Wimmer, Dannielle Button, Ayla Crawford, Annabel Drew-Ross, Quinn Pybus.
